The environment and economy are two sides of the same coin. If we cannot sustain our environment, we cannot sustain ourselves." Keeping this agenda in mind, The School of Sciences at JECRC University took the opportunity to celebrate the World Environment Day and tried to make everyone vigilant about its importance.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Shri Vijai Singhal , former chief environmental engineer at RSPCB. He enlightened the students about our environment and the need to create a sustainable future for the upcoming generations. He taught the students the need to Preserve our resources, Recycling them , Reuse the items as more as we can, and Reduce the waste to be disposed. He also told the students about the importance and methods of Solid Waste Management. The students realized the danger our Earth is in and the reasons behind it. Mr Singhal taught the students the ways they can take at their level to protect the environment and to make our Earth healthy and flourishing.
The session witnessed an unbelievable engagement of students towards Mother nature and moving forward to have a sustainable living on this planet Earth.
