It Ends With Us : Colleen Hoover

If you want to sob your heart out, then this one its for you

Among all the CoHo books,  It ends with us has the most interesting plot and the most beautiful ending. Based on domestic violence,  it fanatically brings out the thoughts and emotions of the women who face it. It's very easy for people to say to these women to  leave their husbands but It ends with us portrays the exact scenario about why a woman stays. The story is about Lily , an ambitious girl who loves flowers and wishes to open a flower store in Boston. Lily hadn't always had it easy , but that's never stopped her from working hard. So when she feels a spark with a gorgeous neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid, everything in Lily's life become too good to be true. Ryle is assertive,  stubborn and arrogant but he's also sensitive,  brilliant and has a total soft spot for lily. But his temper led to incidents that destroyed Lily's heart and pushed her in the well of domestic violence.  On the other hand , Atlas Corrigan,  Lily's first love and the link of her past she left behind,  is the sweetest character CoHo has ever written.  If anything ,he's perfect.  From being homeless in his childhood, to becoming the owner of his own restaurant in Boston , he has worked his way up.  But after so many years , when Atlas reappears , everything Lily has built with Ryle is threatened.

Lily Bloom is the strongest character I've known.  She forsook her love for Ryle for the sake of her daughter, Emmy. She broke the pattern , the generation cycle , and leaves Ryle and the walls of violence.

Colleen has represented and expressed the thoughts of many women enduring this. When a reader will truly understand the title , he/she will do nothing but cry the tears of joy. Because all this book does it motivate us to - Just Keep Swimming.
